The DPA Agency (Dubois Pelin and Associates) organizes a “DPA lounge” in France twice a year – before the Cesar Awards and during the Festival de Cannes. Invited movie stars and journalists get acquainted with new and top-ranked brands. 

Here is what we saw in February at the DPA lounge.

We would like to say a few words about our favorite brands that never cease to amaze us from season to season.

Petrusse, a French brand, showed a chic spring/summer collection of scarves. These accessories combine high quality, noble materials, original colors. Scarves decorated with luxurious feathers and fringes like Lyric, Parole, Folie, etc. are limited edition; they can be the perfect addition to the cocktail attire.



We have repeatedly written about the cosmetic brand Laboratoires Biosalines, founded in the picturesque French Île-de-Ré by a married couple of pharmacists. This brand, offering a wide range of skin care products for face and body, deserves lots of praise for the effectiveness of care and a reasonable combination of price and quality and also for the exceptionally pleasant texture of moisturizing and nourishing creams, face masks, oils, scrubs and other products. The freshness and subtlety of the fragrances turn the daily use of care into a pleasant ritual. Let’s list our trinity of favorites: Creme Hydratante a la Salicorne, Granité Exfoliant and Le Masque de Beauté.



Every time we meet the Krama Heritage brand, we admire their postulates of work. The brand seriously supports the traditions of handmade production in Cambodia, focuses on eco-materials and environmental protection. The range of products continues to grow, including women’s and men’s hand-woven scarves, T-shirts, soft espadrilles, capacious fabric Krabags.


Loix & Savons is a soap production workshop situated in Île-de-Ré in harmony with the surrounding nature: the sea, sandy beaches, green meadows. The company is run by one family, approaching work with great love and high professionalism. Products made on the basis of natural ingredients have hypoallergenic properties and do not cause dryness. The visual aspect is also very attractive: Loix & Savons soaps collected in a basket look even appetizing, thanks to their delicate natural colors.


Olfactory memories are said to stay with us for life. The fragrances “B683” and “Ganymede” have a strong identity. They were created as a result of collaboration between two young creators. Quentin Bisch is a perfumer and Marc-Antoine Barrois is a fashion designer, they met in 2015. “B683” is a fragrance that blends leather and spice in a subtle, powerful and distinguished refinement. “Ganymede” is a leather-based perfume, but it is a new elegance, which is fresh and mineral.
